Cathodic Protection for U.S. Military and Department of Defense

Since the 1990s, Corrpro has provided corrosion engineering support to the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps at locations throughout the world. Corrpro's history with the Department of Defense includes engineering services such as: 

  • Cathodic protection (CP) system design
  • Investigation of fuel and water systems for corrosion control
  • Cathodic protection systems installation and augmentations
  • Protective Coating Systems
  • Materials support
  • Cathodic protection program management

Corrpro has 10 years of experience as a primary contractor for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Centrally Managed Corrosion Engineering Services worldwide contract, managing over 2500 Cathodic Protection system survey and repair projects. Currently, Corrpro is a primary contractor for the five-year US Army Corps of Engineers Centrally Managed Corrosion Engineering Services Worldwide IDIQ contract, executed in September 2013.

In addition to the Army Corps and NAVFAC, Corrpro has provided support to both the Army Materiel Command (AMC) and Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in the areas of specification development, evaluation of alternative corrosion control technologies, evaluation of reformulated coating processes and shipboard CP design and investigation.
